Stanthorpe Sports Association Welcomes New Football Clubs
In November last year the Stanthorpe Sports Association joined with the Stanthorpe International Club, Inter Football Club Stanthorpe and Stanthorpe United Redbacks Football Club to celebrate the signing of new leases between these parties. This occasion marked an exciting and important moment that symbolised more than just paperwork — it represented the beginning of a new relationship built on cooperation, shared goals and a strong commitment to local football. These agreements provide a solid foundation for growth, stability and opportunity for players, volunteers and supporters well into the future.
In the lead-up to these leases, many meetings took place between all parties. Throughout these discussions, a strong spirit of cooperation, respect and willingness to work together was consistently shown, making this outcome something everyone involved can be proud of.
The Stanthorpe Sports Association is proud and excited to welcome Inter Football Club and Stanthorpe United Football Club as members of the SSA. We look forward to working closely with both clubs as part of our association, supporting their development and strengthening football across the Stanthorpe region.
