Description of Sport: We play 40 over cricket on a Saturday.
Club Information: We currently have 5 teams – Souths, Wanderers, RSL, Valleys and Tenterfield.
Season Information: Generally our season starts on the first weekend of October and ends late March.
Age Group & Genders: Our age group ranges from 12 year old all the way up to veterans. For more information regarding juniors, please see the Stanthorpe Junior Cricket page.
Cost: We aim to keep playing costs to a minimum. Registration/insurance is usually around $40 plus $10 each game for umpire’s / ball fees.
Training Days: We utilise the Stanthorpe State High School cricket nets which are available any day, however team training sessions are as follows:
Valleys – Tuesday, RSL – Wednesday, Souths – Thursday, Wanderers – Friday.
Location: C.F. White & Sheahan Ovals in Stanthorpe & Shirley Park in Tenterfield
Travel Requirements: Individual travel to games, unless individual teams organise their own bus. Representative teams travel to some games by bus.

Uniform/Equipment Supplied: Each player will need their own playing whites, spikes and cricket gear. Each club in the past have ordered team shirts / hats etc, however that is a club decision.
Special Needs Inclusion: Clubhouse has wheelchair access.
Volunteers Roles: Our club often has working bees where we upgrade facilities and prepare for the upcoming season.
Representative Opportunities:Representative teams (Mitchell and Dud Davis Shield Teams) play throughout the summer which involves Stanthorpe, Lockyer, Warwick, Central Downs and Toowoomba This is usually played over 4 / 5 Sundays and is 50 overs.
