Description of Sport: Swimming is a lifelong skill and a whole-body activity that builds strength, coordination and endurance in a low-impact environment. It supports water safety, boosts confidence and provides both recreational enjoyment and competitive opportunities for people of all ages and abilities.
Club Information: Stanthorpe Swimming Club provides a welcoming and supportive environment for swimmers to develop their skills, build fitness and enjoy time in the water. Catering for a range of ages and abilities, the club offers opportunities for both recreational swimming and competitive participation, with a focus on personal improvement and goal setting. With strong community support and dedicated volunteers, the club encourages confidence, resilience and a lifelong connection to swimming.
Also the home of 🐬Australian Dolphin Swimmer Ben Armbruster.
Season Information: Held on Friday evenings. Usually starts in October and runs through to March
Age Group & Genders: 5 years to 17 years of age, both girls and boys.
Cost: $
Swimming Club Days: Friday evenings from 5:30pm. Swimming Squad is separate to Club. Swimmers can do one or both. Squad is offered through the week. Times may vary each season.
Location: Stanthorpe Swimming Pool, ‘The Y”. Railway Street, Stanthorpe
Travel Requirements: None unless attending meets in other towns.

Volunteers Roles: Our club is entirely run by volunteers. We need help each club night with many roles and welcome all volunteers.
Representative Opportunities: Throughout the season there are multiple opportunities to represent our club at swimming meets across the district.
